Fat Boy Slim, Skrillex, Die Antwoord and Porter Robinson
Fri, 2 Mar, 2012
Spark Arena, Auckland
Featuring one of the original party starters, through to the new generation of leading music producers, New Zealand's Rhythm and Vines have teamed up with Australia's Future Touring to deliver possibly one of the most eclectic, mashed up lineups Auckland has ever seen. With General Admission tickets all gone, and only limited seated tickets available, the tin roof of Vector Arena will surely be tested with some of the world's best producers of dance, hip hop and yes, NZ's most loved but hated genre dubstep. For the lucky few who secured VIP upgrades, it was announced last night that the popular Puma Social will be present, which will indeed provide plenty of contest and amusement up in amongst the VIP area.

Unknown Mortal Orchestra
Sat, 17 Dec, 2011
The Kings Arms, Newton
Unknown Mortal Orchestra is the new exciting project for former guitarist of The Mint Chicks Ruban Neilson. Ruban cleverly exited the New Zealand music scene to establish UMO in Portland, partnering with Portland local Jake Portrait and teenage prodigy Julien Ehrich. And not surprisingly, New Zealand's indie community are excited for the return of Ruban and his new project. Playing shows in Auckland and Wellington this December, and returning for the Big Day Out, we are very excited to see what comes from the unknown.
