Overview

CreativeMornings is a free monthly morning gathering for creative types. Started in NYC by Tina Roth Eisenberg, founder of swissmiss, CreativeMornings organises inspirational and informative meetings around the world including New York, Chicago, London, Zurich, LA, San Francisco, Berlin, and Auckland among others.

Each month talented creatives are invited to share their experience and expertise in an informal and stimulating environment. Every CreativeMornings session includes a 20 minute talk, followed by a short group discussion. The Auckland gathering begins at 8:00am with the topic presentation starting at 8:30am and everyone taking off for work by 9-9:30am. Simply register online for your free ticket.

This month's CreativeMornings is being held at the site of the former New Gallery, opposite the Auckland Art Gallery, as part of Art Week 2012. Featured is curator and arts leader Rob Garrett, presenting on his curation of the exhibition 'Lost in a Dream' at the Snake Pit Gallery. In the exhibition, Garrett  brings together fourteen established and emerging artists from New Zealand, Australia, Germany, Russia, Sweden and the USA.

CreativeMornings are a great opportunity to get inspired, get informed and to mingle with like-minded people over a hot cup of coffee. This month also happens to be CreativeMornings' first birthday, which means not only coffee, but cake too!
