Overview

From street to suite, Elliot O'Donnell better known as Askew One,  always puts on a good show and Dust to Dust is sure to be no exception. Dust to Dust is an exhibition of recent works designed for the interior rather than the exterior wall. For a number of years now Askew One has been working on canvas and creating limited edition prints. He has developed a distinctive graphic style influenced by photography, comics, typography and the Americanisation of local culture.

A self-taught multi-disciplined artist, he is best known for his graffiti artwork and long-term involvement in the New Zealand graffiti scene, although he is also versed in graphic design, photography, illustration, music and moving image.  For those lucky enough to be at Semi-Permanent 2013 you would have had the pleasure of getting the inside story on one of the driving forces behind the New Zealand urban art scene.
