What better way to spend summer, and that well-deserved summer break, than by the poolside, with some sweet beats and a cold beverage in hand, on an island.

Introducing Highlife Poolside, an annual pool party held on Waihiki island. Guests of the event can explore three seperate levels of entertainment - bars, sun decks and loungers, an indoor and outdoor dance area, 'social spaces', and most importantly: a pool. All while overlooking a multi million-dollar vista of the ocean and beach.

With a rad bunch of DJs talents to set the soundtrack to the day, and so many kickback options throughout the day (which runs from 1pm - 1am), it's a perfect miniature island getaway - especially for those staying in Auckland or working during New Year's.
