Overview

Two of New Zealand's hottest up and coming talents join forces on Friday, 12 October at Anthology Lounge. Songwriter Lontalius recently broke his two year silence by releasing two singles: 'I Wanted Him' and 'That Includes You'. He describes the pair as being "one about lust and the other about love. Both feelings I don't really understand." Characteristic of his sound, they are woozy pop songs that have been produced by Om'Mas Keith who has worked with Jay-Z and Sun Ra.

He is joined by post-punk protégé October. Her spiky pop songs have captured the attention of everyone from Lorde to the most seasoned of music critics. Merging Patti Smith, Blondie and Death Grips through singles 'Pure' and 'Cherry Cola', October's music can be described as a diamond in the rough; not too glossy but with a grimy sheen that is beautiful in its own right. Tickets are available from Under the Radar.
