Overview

With social distancing restrictions out the window, now is the perfect time to get up close and personal and find that special someone. After a sell-out debut earlier this year, Auckland Museum's after-hours singles night Mingle at the Museum is heading back this spring.

The relaxed social gathering will begin in the stunning Grand Foyer, where food and beverages will be available for purchase and the Museum's ice-breaker hosts will keep the conversation flowing between interested parties. Live music will complete the setting.

Further activations in and around the Grand Foyer throughout the evening include the 'Carbon Dating' challenge. Between the dinosaur bones, the interactive activity will see singles put into pairs for timed challenges — all while getting to know each other. The popular 'Blind Date' game show also makes its return, allowing participants to choose between three eligible singles. Register your interest when purchasing tickets.

Away from the activations guests can enjoy Museum collections after dark. All of the galleries will be open, allowing potential lovers to stroll the beautifully-lit space and take part in conversation starters throughout the Museum.
