Overview

First Class restaurant, brought to you by the owners of its upstairs neighbour Sky Room, is the new tenant of the space formerly filled by The Buffalo Club. Situated on the second floor, diagonally across from the McWhirters building, First Class has a first class view of all the Fortitude Valley action.

Inside the restaurant, things are less chaotic; ambient lighting complements the rustic quality of the floorboards, sturdy wooden tables and leather-covered seats. The enormous windows overlooking Brunswick Street act as fantastic features as well as creating a sense of space in the dining room.

But while the doof doof reigns below, you're more likely to hear soul or jazz coming over the speakers at First Class. The menu is pretty classy, too, with a range of snacks, share plates, sweets, and cheeses on hand to tempt. Menu offerings change with seasonal produce availability, so you can be assured of the quality and freshness of your food.

The cocktail menu, an inventive and thorough list where classics rub shoulders with new creations, should not be missed. Try the Old Fashioned Three Ways for a new spin on a timeless concoction.
