That's exactly what's on the agenda at Sunday Social on the Green, which turns the last part of your weekend into a chilled waterside hangout session.
Make the most of one of Brisbane's prime patches of riverside greenery at River Quay Green, listen to free live music and even play lawn bowls, all while gazing out over at the CBD. It all takes place from 2–5pm each week, and we hope you like trios, with the tunes lineup featuring Birdman Trio, Cleon Trio, Sjaz Brookts Trio and Romy Trio — plus twosome Chris Ah Gee and Jazzela.
Food-wise, you can bring your own picnic — or if that sounds like too much effort for your blissful day out, then you can also order a hamper from one of South Bank's eateries. Aquitaine do gourmet picnic options, Popolo will treat you to Italian eats and River Quay Fish has a special Sunday Social takeaway menu.
