Overview

This CBD spot just should be date night go-to — on Mondays, at least. Southeast Asian-Australian fusion diner Burma Lane slings two-for-one banquets every Monday — so you and your partner/lover/best friend/mother can eat a lot and only split the cost of one meal.

The deal is up for grabs during at both lunch and dinner, when you can get two servings of a "feed me" menu for the price of one. So, all together, that's six dishes for $39 or eight dishes for $55 at lunchtime, and eight dishes for $72 or ten dishes for $85 at dinnertime. Expect the meal to be broken up into starters, mains and (for the three priciest options) dessert, too.

Diners can look forward to the likes of salmon tacos, smoked chicken wings and five spice pork belly, plus Burmese tofu with smashed tomatoes and duck with shiitake doughnuts and sour cherry. For dessert, count on a lemongrass cheesecake and a chai panna cotta.

Reservations are required in order to claim the deal, with a maximum of six people per table.
