Auckland's unpredictable weather doesn't make things easy when you'd like to head outside and look up, but luckily there's a place where you can drink in the celestial sights and shelter from the elements.
This live, presenter-led show takes visitors on an extraordinary tour of the stars, planets and constellations visible from our little corner of the globe. At the Wednesday evening Wine, Cheese & Astronomy special, visitors will sit back for an extended version of the ever-popular 'Our Night Sky' in the 360-degree planetarium.
The immersive experience at Stardome Observatory & Planetarium is ideal for those looking for a unique night out and to soak in the breathtaking beauty of the night sky. The $34.50 ticket price includes a glass of wine or beer on arrival and delicious cheese platters. Alcohol will only be served to those with valid ID. Late entry into the planetarium is not possible once the show has started.
