Overview
Part-time surfer, animal rights activist and World's Sexiest Vegetarian nominee, Xavier Rudd, will take on his best known role as multi-instrumentalist when he returns to New Zealand on January 30, 2015.
Moving beyond his traditional one-man set-up, Rudd will take the stage as a three-piece for the first time, joined by South African bassist Uncle Tio and percussionist Bobby Alu. No doubt he will still show off his dexterity as a solo musician, with an arsenal of 16-instruments.
Rudd's songs typically incorporate socially conscious themes - such as spirituality, humanity, environmentalism and the rights of the Aboriginal people.
