Births and Deaths takes no prisoners when it comes to the drinks menu, flaunting a rotating cocktail list and over 100 gins on offer, with an emphasis on local suppliers. The drinks here are top-notch but served without pretension, with bar staff more than happy to help guide you through the juniper landscape.

Conviviality is encouraged (at a socially acceptable distance) — banquette seating runs down each side of the bar and a solid timber table occupies the centre of the floor.

Plus, at the tail end of the week, it's all about big celebrations with Friday Degustations — a rotating menu of four-courses with matching cocktails.
