Once you've settled down — either in the fairy light-lit courtyard or the dark and moody dining room — select from a menu of tapas dishes, which covers off all the Spanish classics, including patatas bravas, jamon croquetas and paella balls.

The wine list is extensive, focusing on Australian drops but with a respectable Spanish representation, too. Cocktail-wise, the Thai gin martini, which mixes Archie Rose gin with ginger liqueur, cucumber, lemongrass, ginger, lime and chilli, is a winner.
