Known as "the Wharf Bar" to locals, Manly Wharf Hotel provides tasty pub fare right on the water's edge. Watch the waves crash in as you enjoy a long lunch or an evening drink. Plus, there's live music every Tuesday through Thursday and resident DJ sets on the weekends that you won't want to miss.

Food-wise, there's an array of options to sample, from a chili garlic prawn pizza ($25) and a snapper katsu burger ($20) to veal parmas ($29) and beer battered fish and chips ($24). There are also seasonal menus that showcase the freshest sea-to-plate produce.

When it comes to wines, the Wharf Bar offers a mainly regional assortment in support of New Zealand and Australia vineyard powerhouses. It also offers signature cocktails that compliment the beachside vibes, like watermelon and mint martinis ($17) and summer garden mojitos ($18).
