Situated on the border of Paddington and Woollahra, you could be forgiven for assuming The Light Brigade was just a stuffy high-end venue for Sydney's wealthy elite. But you'd be so wrong. The golden-hued art deco building has a historic facade that gives way to a slick and modern space with a range of long communal tables and booth seats for its boisterous, sports-mad clientele. When you're this close to both the SCG and the SFS, it's almost inevitable you become a stalwart for sports fans across any number of codes.

On the ground floor, you'll find the giant 103-inch plasma screen for catching all major sports games in full HD, with smaller screens scattered all around the venue. It offers a bit of something for everyone, from weekly trivia, daily specials, drag bingo and of course sports coverage!

Upstairs you'll find the Brigade Bistro with its casual vibes and views overlooking Oxford Street. Tuck into share plates, pizzas and pub classics. Another flight of stairs takes you to the more refined and chic Brigade Lounge that really leans into the art deco feel. Come here for cocktails and chats. Finally, the last set of stairs leads you to the Brigade Rooftop, with its stunning views and signature woodfired pizzas to dine alfresco.

With its simple cuisine and recently renovated interior offering a lighter, airier experience, The Light Brigade is a great place to catch all the live action of the AFL, Rugby Union, UFC, A-League and NRL in full HD.
