Western Sydney is the beating creative heart of Australian hip hop right now, with some of the country's most exciting emerging artists coming out of the region's local scene. Chief among them is Ghanaian-born artist Blessed, who followed up a gig executive producing The Kid Laroi's breakout EP with the release of a critically acclaimed debut album, Music Is the Medicine, last year.

He's bringing his latest show, Diaspora, to Sydney Opera House for this year's Vivid Live festival, and he's bringing a touch of Africa to the state capital with special guests B Wise and Manu Crooks, of Nigerian and Ghanaian descent respectively.
