Harper Rooftop Bar is returning to Kimpton Margot Sydney this September, bringing its skyline views and summer drinks back for another season. To mark the occasion, the Level 7 venue will kick things off with Harper After Dark, a free four-night series of live DJ sets running from Thursday, September 17 to Sunday, September 20.

ARIA Award winner Kaiit will headline the opening weekend with a sunset set ahead of joining Olivia Dean's Australian and New Zealand tour as main support. The lineup also includes Med-inspired disco duo D.D Mirage and Caribbean-Australian afro house DJ Jazmine Nikitta.

There's a new menu to match the warmer weather, too, with chef Luke Mangan putting a tropical spin on rooftop snacks. Highlights include hot honey-drizzled popcorn, Sydney rock oysters with pineapple mignonette, and Cajun prawns with chipotle and pineapple salsa.

The drinks list is getting a seasonal refresh, with piña colada slushies, frosé and frozen boozy sorbet pops from Pops By Launch joining the lineup. There's also a dedicated daiquiri bar serving custom creations alongside a selection of summer-forward wines and cocktails.

The spring/summer program will continue beyond the opening weekend with a series of new weekly experiences. Golden Hours will run Wednesday to Friday from 4–6pm, with $15 seasonal spritzes, sashimi plates from $15 and $40 buckets of Balter Cerveza.

On Saturdays, Rosé All Day will offer $15 glasses of rosé and $15 frosé slushy cocktails from midday. Sundays will bring Spritzy Sundays, with $18 signature Four Pillars spritzes alongside classic Aperol, Sarti Rosa and Elderflower spritzes.

Weekly Beats will also bring resident and guest DJs to the venue, with sets running on Thursday and Friday evenings and Sunday afternoons from September 24. The regular programming will be free to attend. Harper Rooftop Bar will also be one of the city's pet-friendly rooftop venues, so four-legged guests can join their owners for the season.

Harper Rooftop Bar will reopen on Thursday, September 17, trading Wednesday to Friday from 4–11pm and weekends from 12–11pm. Walk-ins are welcome, with reservations recommended.
