Overview

The new Sydney label/collective/party No Good have been killing it so far this year. Off the back of their monthly sessions comes the boutique festival No Good: Winter, the first in a series of quarterly events from the people who promise to bring you sounds you’ve never heard before — and all of them local.

The label prides itself on uncovering the most inventive and influential new music from this city, so fittingly the lineup is a super diverse mix of emerging Sydney talent. Bands, DJs, rappers and producers will come together for the full-day affair, headed up by Rainbow Chan and Maatzi. Think new music that’s variously haunting, synthy, playful, psychedelic, dreamy and plain weird.

It's all happening this Queen's Birthday long weekend at the Petersham Bowling Club, and, contrary to the name, it’s a pretty good excuse to get down on a Sunday.
