Our House
Shell House is throwing a two-month food and music festival with sets from Nina Las Vegas, Late Nite Tuff Guy, Touch Sensitive and pop-ups from Licoreria Limantour and Attaboy.
Across April and May, the CBD's new multi-storey venue Shell House is throwing a huge food and music festival with an international lineup of musicians and chefs taking over all four of the building's venues across nine weeks of festivities.
Beginning with food and beverages, there's a whole heap of special one-off menus and kitchen takeovers happening throughout the month. The Shell House crew is running a deep dive into the world of tuna called Wet, Cold and Delicious on Friday, April 15. Three of the world's best bars will run pop-ups across the three months, starting with Licoreria Limantour (6th in the World's 50 Best Bars) and finishing with New York's Attaboy (34th). And, Clayton Wells (Automata), Paul Carmichael (ex-Momofuku Seiobo) and Morgan McGlone (Belles Hot Chicken) will be collaborating on a weekend brunch in May.
As for the music, you can expect local favourites like Nina Las Vega, George Maple, Touch Sensitive and Late Nite Tuff Guy to pop up for sets alongside Shell House's own house band. Mike Simonetti will be making his way over from the US to soundtrack Gio Pardisio's Italo Disco and Berlin's M.A.N.D.Y will be performing in the Clocktower Bar's new late-night venue 10/10.
Topping the whole thing off will be cultural and art installations from the likes of Arts-Matter, Stephen Ormandy, RUSSH Magazine, KAAIAA and Babekuhl.
You can check out the full schedule at the Shell House website.
