If you're all about the bubbly things in life, prepare to be swept away by the city's effervescent booze festival. Descending on Pirrama Park in Pyrmont for the second year on Sunday, May 24, the 2020 edition of Sparkling Sydney is set to deliver a jam-packed day of gourmet food and fizzy fun.

At this free event, you'll have the chance to sample over 60 sparkling wines from top local and international labels, including Tulloch, Brave New World, Ptersons and Hungerford Hill. While entry to the festival is free, you can purchase tasting packages on the day, which start at a tidy $26.

If you prefer your fizz in the form of a crisp, spirit-based creation, make tracks to the Buffalo Vale pop-up. Or, if you like it with hops, swing by Frenchies Brewery and Six String.

Of course, there'll be plenty of top-notch eats to match, from Ralson Bros' freshly shucked oysters to hand-made pasta from The Gnocchi Way and vegan snacks by the Vege for Love Food Truck.

Sparkling Sydney runs from 11am–5pm.
