Overview

Since when do people stand around in doctors' surgery waiting rooms when they're not ill? Since East Sydney Doctors started moonlighting as a contemporary art gallery a year or so ago. Their program of exhibitions are much better than a two-year-old Woman's Day (crossword already completed) and given the nigh-on chronic shortage of exhibition space in Sydney, they provide a valuable platform for (mostly) local artists to show their work.

And where there is art where there isn't usually art there will be snow when it shouldn't be snowing. The latest exhibition at East Sydney Doctors is the SNOW SHOW, including artists Michaela Gleave (featured in Concrete Playground's book Conspirators), Thea Rechner, Martin Sharp, Michelle Hinchcliff, Andrew Hopkins, Rose Vickers, Elwira Titan, Daniel Hollier, Parris Dewhurst and Emily Fitzgerald.
