For the third year in a row, the Sydney Opera House has undergone its seasonal transformation into a Summer Playground. Featuring casual beach pop-ups, new Matt-Moran developed Opera Bar delights and all the LEGO fun for the kiddies, Summer Playground features quite the luxurious novelty (and wheeled) resident this year: the Veuve Clicquot Airstream Pop-Up Bar.
One of the posher options for fancy, fancy Opera House-goers during SP, the Veuve Clicquot Airstream Pop-Up Bar is rolling on to the House's western boardwalk; having already stopped by the Yarra and the Gold Coast. The Airstream bar is just that — a pretty, pretty metal airstream camper decked out with palm trees and Clicquot long boards for one of the most adorably elegant pop-ups we've seen.
Truly indulge in a 2004 vintage Veuve ($29 glass/$145 bottle) among the palms, or if you're feeling peckish the Gregan Group are planning culinary matches for the Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label ($20 flute/$105 bottle), paired with pints of prawns, seafood platters and oysters. Summer just took indulgence next level.
