Overview

Good news, health nuts. Beloved organic grocer and cafe Bondi Wholefoods have opened a second store in Surry Hills, bringing tasty, nutritious, sustainable food to inner Sydney. Watch your back, Woolies.

The second iteration of the Bondi institution, which sits on Elizabeth Street between Central Station and Cleveland Street, boasts a larger kitchen than their Bondi location but the menu is essentially the same. Expect acai bowls and paleo bread for brekkie and sandwiches, wraps and salads for lunch. Of course, there's also a tonne of smoothies and fresh pressed juices, as well as tea and coffee.

Raw sweet treats are a Wholefoods specialty, and there are plenty on the Surry Hills menu. With everything from raw Bounty bars to raw paleo brownies and their amazing raw Nickers cake, breakfast dessert isn't even a question.
