Son of Frank - CLOSED

This experimental Italian cafe's bottomless brunch can't be beat.

Overview

This cosy, light-filled Victoria Street cafe is a local favourite for boozy brunches, morning laptop sessions and long, languid lunch banquets alike. The timber and black-and-white fit-out (with just a pop of bright verdancy on the outdoor patio) make for a relaxed, sublime dining experience.

Brothers Anthony and Jonathon Canturi have combined experience at The Apollo, Cho Cho San, est. and Eau de Vie. The menu is Italian by definition but there are clear attempts to innovate, so expect to find meatball subs and pasta sitting alongside croissants stuffed with chilli scrambled eggs and harissa and coconut rice pudding with spiced poached pears.

Son of Frank's shining jewel is its $70 per person bottomless brunch offer, which will see you rolling home filled with four delightful semi-Italian dishes, alongside all the rosé, mimosas or Aperol spritzes you can drink.
