Overview

Aboriginal & Pacific Art gallery taps in to the strong heritage of the area, exhibiting contemporary Aboriginal works from established and emerging artists. Director Gabriella Roy founded the gallery in 1996 and continues to work with advisors from around the country to house a diverse range of art and artefacts. The gallery represents works by artists and community centres from across the country, including South Australian weaver Yvonne Koolmatrie and Yarrenyty Arltere Artists in the Northern Territory.
