Cardrona Distillery

Overview

The family-run Cardrona Distillery offers daily tours so you can see how the magic happens. Here, four artisan spirits are made from scratch, each starting with a base of water, yeast and malted barley. Single malt vodka, whisky, liqueurs and the award-winning The Source gin are all made in beautiful river stone buildings and with the South Island's ultra pure water. The distillery is open seven days a week, with tours every day on the hour. Be sure to try the character-filled Rose Rabbit Liqueurs which marry Cardrona Single Malt Spirit with New Zealand oranges, elderflower and fruits resulting in a delectably powerful range of sipping liqueurs.
