BurgerFuel has always catered for the full spectrum of dining philosophies — vegan, vegetarian, flexitarian and hardcore carnivore. Now, following the launch of its chicken-free chook burger and meatless cheeseburger, the burger chain is launching a new plant-based burger in cahoots with Life Health Foods and The Alternative Meat Co.
The Alternative Muscle is a twist on BurgerFuel's popular gourmet cheeseburger; the only difference being the stand in of a new plant-based protein from The Alternative Meat Co., which has been formulated to look, cook and taste like real beef. Also between the wholemeal buns you'll find melted cheddar, sandwich pickles, Dijon mustard, tomato relish and aioli.
The Alternative Muscle will be available at BurgerFuel outlets nationwide from November 5. To celebrate the launch, BurgerFuel is giving away 100 free burgers at its Courtenay Place store on Friday, November 8 from 1pm onwards. First come, first served.
