Firefly Cinemas has been running out of Upper Hutt's Trentham Racecourse since 2013, attracting thousands of punters to enjoy the cinema experience from the comfort of their car.

If you have the burning desire to burst into song at the cinema, Firefly's next drive-in outing will serve you well. On Friday, 26 October, classic summer romance musical Grease will hit the 40-foot outdoor screen as a one-off sing-along version.

As Sandy, Danny and the gang break into 'Summer Nights', 'Greased Lightning' and 'You're the One That I Want', while journey through the complexities of love, teen pregnancy and cliques, the lyrics will appear on the big screen (as if you need them anyway) so you can join in the fun. And the best part is that the only ones who will hear your singing voice are your fellow car mates.

Gates open at 6.30pm with the film starting at 8pm. Dust off that old leather jacket, there will be prizes for the best dressed and the best presented car.
