Whether you're stuck on that last minute Christmas shopping or just looking to say thank you to someone with a sweet tooth, a very special chocolate-filled pop-up has come to capital's business district.

Beloved boutique chocolate makers Wellington Chocolate Factory are running a limited-time shop in Lambton Quay, with chocolate tastings, speciality hot chocolates, a prize wheel and sweet stocking fillers all on offer.

Most Wellingtonians will have ventured to the Wonka-like factory on Eva Street, and while this shop is much smaller, it's still offering an equal amount of joy. The main drawcard? A series of supersized, one-of-a-kind, one kilogram chocolate bars (that's about ten times the regular sized ones) you can go in the draw to win.

Open from 10am-5pm every day, the pop-up also features a pneumatic-tubed 'Santa letter launcher' so you can mail your wish list directly to the big guy, and you'll find all the boutique bars that can be tough to track down elsewhere around the country — including the massively popular Karen Walker collabs. Head down for some shopping and enjoy a sugar high in the process. Just get in there quick — it's only open until Christmas Eve.
