Brought to you by urban winery, Te Aro Wine, WINE! RAVE! is a new kind of wine appreciation party, that puts the 'club' into 'wine club'. WINE! RAVE! promises less swirling, sniffing and snobbery, and more music, experimentation and mayhem.

Take a journey into unexpected terroir and discover a fresh spin on your favourite drop. Break all the rules and stomp out your perceptions of wine as you sip your way through novel creations, including wine jello shots, pre-mixed wine cocktails and pet-nat by the pint.

Paired with tasty bites from local Wellington purveyors and the grooving beats of DJ Skin-Contact (aka Sam Scott of The Phoenix Foundation), WINE! RAVE! proves that wine can be serious fun.

Visa Wellington On a Plate, the capital's favourite foodie fiesta, returns in August with a month-long celebration of culinary delights. This year's festival invites you to feast your senses, with a smorgasbord of tantalising events, burgers, dishes and cocktails that'll leave you hungry for more. The festival takes place from 1 August - 31 August, across various venues.
