Overview

Considered one of the greatest influences of our time, the Dalai Lama is sharing his wisdom and unique vision in Auckland this week. In the last of his series of public talks in New Zealand, the Dalai Lama addresses the sought after, but elusive Path to Happiness.

Delivered in his unique and engaging style, the Dalai Lama explores the essence of human nature, and the importance of being compassionate and affectionate. His Holiness the Dalai Lama believes that happiness is a driving force in our daily lives and that being happy is a natural right. However, in today's hectic world, being happy doesn't always seems to come naturally.

The Dalai Lama says the path to happiness begins with developing an understanding of our true nature. Once this door opens we naturally feel compassion and affection for others, helping us to free ourselves from negative behaviours.

Author of 72 books and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for his non-violent struggle for the liberation of Tibet, the Dalai Lama is a man who knows a thing or two. This is a rare opportunity to hear one of the world's great leaders and you never know, it might even change your life.
