If you could only eat schnitzel and drink espresso, you'd be pretty happy. Don't worry — Hofer & Frei does serve other items. Whether you have the willpower to pass up a parma and fries, or a coffee, though, is up to you.
Joining the array of eateries at 480 Queen Street, Hofer & Frei knows what it likes, and knows how to do it well. And, owners Ricardo Basetti and Matthew Medcraf know that people want tasty, high-quality crumbed meat at a good price. It's common sense, really.
Cue a menu filled with the good schnitz: on wraps, buns and in meals, and paired with everything from German potato salad to japalenos and guacamole to egg and bacon. One variety is called The Arnie (with Swiss cheese, avocado, slow roast tomatoes, baby spinach and Hofer's sweet chilli mayo), should you need any further encouragement. And, if caffeine doesn't get your motor running, try one of six types of thickshakes, including choc fudge brownie and strawberry cheesecake.
