Papa Gelato Pop-Up

Overview

If you've heard the name Pasticceria Papa before, you've probably heard it associated with one of two things: its ricotta cannoli or baked ricotta cheesecake. The desserts have a bit of a cult following (deservedly — they're pretty darn good).

Now, Papa is gifting us with another ricotta-filled treat to become obsessed with: baked ricotta cheesecake gelato. Yep, it's turning its famed sweet into an iced treat. The catch is that the creamy gelato is only available this summer — from now until February 2019 — at Papa's pop-up gelato cart at Made By The Hill, Rooty Hill's food precinct.

If ricotta's not your thing, you'll be able to dig into Nutella, Kinder Bueno, salted caramel and Snickers gelato, too. One scoop will set you back $3.50 and two only $4 (we're thinking the latter is an economically sound choice).

Papa's Gelato Cart is open from 12pm–10pm Fridays, 12pm–11pm Saturdays and 12pm–8pm on Sundays until February 2019.
