The Pulse — CANCELLED
Watch as bodies build towers, move like the ocean and pulse in unison.
Overview
UPDATE, January 4, 2020: Due to COVID-19 border restrictions, the Sydney Festival season of The Pulse has been cancelled.

Following a run at Sydney Festival 2018 with its award-winning show Backbone, circus company Gravity & Other Myths returns with the company's most ambitious show to date. Formed in Adelaide in 2009, Gravity & Other Myths has been wowing crowds worldwide ever since, with jaw-dropping feats of agility coupled with atmospheric soundscapes. The Pulse sees 30 acrobats and 30 vocalists join forces to create, in the words of Creative Lead Darcy Grant, "one shimmering mass [with] spectacular systems and organisms of muscle, bone and voice". As for how the show gets its name? Composer Ekrem Eli Phoenix has composed the accompaniment to fit the beat of your (sure-to-be rising) pulse.
