Following the temporary closure of the Market City food court, this Vietnamese eatery set up shop inside the Mountbatten Hotel. The prices might have been bumped up a notch, but they are still some of the most reasonable you'll find in Sydney. The Vietnamese classic, beef pho, is an absolute steal at $10. It's also one of the best you'll find in Sydney, at any price. There's no dilly-dallying around — expect rich, traditional flavours, and a sizeable serving. If beef isn't your thing, there's a bunch of other cheap-as-chips options, like shredded pork and spring roll noodle salad and bun mang ga (steamed chicken and rice noodle soup), both at $11.50.
