Now, the craft soda brand has spilled over from Wellington's central business district to a new soda shop here in Auckland.
Amidst the Argentinian flare of El Sizzling Lomito and situated next to the eccentric colours of Electric Chicken's latest outpost, Six Barrel Soda is nestled in the former stall of Moustache Milk & Cookie Bar within the bustling hub of Karangahape Road's Food Workshop. Hosting communal tables in an indoor dining area, Six Barrel welcomes in the midday trade from local offices and the eager-eyed passerby amongst the after-work rush.
On the shelf, you'll find renowned staples such as their raspberry and lemon, salted cucumber and mint and limited edition seasonal numbers, but the real drawcard is the newly introduced mocktail list. How does sipping on chilli and lime-infused fizzy sound?
Displayed on the establishment's back wall is their full range of 12 classic and creative flavoured syrups, along with their bottled sodas available to take away or enjoy in. Officially swinging it's doors open this week, Six Barrel Soda invites all you soda aficionados to experience kick their all-natural sodas.
