If you're after a coffee, healthy breakfast or satisfying lunch, then S Bar Cafe is your destination — but you'll also want to pop into the attached Finders Keepers, the second location for the Mitchelton-based homeware and gift store.
Don't worry, the food-focused section of their shared space isn't a mere afterthought or added bonus. Opting for the smoked salmon and potato hotcakes is a tasty way to start the day, though the open omelette with chorizo, mushrooms, caramelised onions and sun-dried tomatoes also sounds a treat. And with pulled pork sliders and a pumpkin, eggplant, zucchini and capsicum-filled warm salad on the lunch menu, you'll be heading to Sandgate Road for meals alone.
Well, that and the cute garden eatery vibe they've seemingly effortlessly cultivated. With a mix of green-heavy decor and outdoor furniture, you'll forget that you're sitting in a strip of suburban shops.
