Restaurant Lisboa

Prado

Housed in a former fish factory, this greenery- and light-filled restaurant is one of Lisbon's best examples of farm-to-table dining.

Overview

A bright, post-industrial space of flooding light, hanging ferns and modern art, Prado's surroundings exude the same freshness that underpins the purity of their culinary pursuit. In this fun and flavourful menu, only seasonal ingredients are permitted. Depending on the bounty of land and sea, you might find smoked eel, melon, cucumber and almond cream on your menu, or mushroom ice cream, caramel and pearl barley. A classic European nose-to-tail ethos appears in dishes like hispi cabbage, pig's trotters and whelks, while their sustainability commitment shows in seafood dishes such as line-caught hake, patisson and mussels. In a celebration of the source, all producers are listed by name on the menu. And this is all perfectly paired with a list of biodynamic, organic and natural wines.
