Overview
At some point in human history, some clever person found a way to improve eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, fruit platters and croissants. They're all breakfast go-tos, and they're all delicious. But they taste better when paired with a stiff drink — especially if it's a weekend morning (or let's be honest, even around midday or early afternoon), and you happen to be either recovering from the night before or starting your day as you mean to go on.
Yes, we all owe whoever discovered boozy brunches a big debt. The person who decided that those beverages should keep flowing deserves all of our gratitude as well. Why pair your brekkie burger, sardines on toast or mid-morning yum cha with just one drink when you can keep the sipping going? If you're looking for somewhere in Brisbane to do just that, we've picked a few standout spots for a bottomless boozy brunch.

When you’re deciding how to spend your next brunch — and where to spend it, more importantly — perhaps it’s a case of what you’d like to drink. Tired of mimosas? Fancy something stronger with your first Sunday meal? Or, maybe you just really love gin.
West End gin joint Covent Garden has been in the bottomless brunch game for a while now, and shows no signs of stopping. Here, between 11am–3pm each Sunday, you can tuck into gin tap cocktails — including the monthly cocktail special — for two hours, or opt for a few Pimm’s cups. For $49 per person, you’ll also sip red or white wine sangria, and munch on a shareboard spread — choosing between charcuterie, remoulade, chutney and mustard, or feta, pickled vegetables, hummus and olives. Both come with that breakfast and brunch staple, aka bread, too.
