The 70s-style dive bar (that’s on our list of the best bars in Melbourne) famous around town for its burgers and booze hasn’t forgotten about its vegan friends either — it has a scrumptious and soul-warming plant-based burger on its menu. For $17.50, you can sink your teeth into a meat-free patty with vegan cheese, pickles and lettuce and a dousing of vegan aioli and ketchup. One new burger to join the venue’s lineup is The Lot, which is as hearty of a dish as you’d hope. You get to enjoy a vegan brioche bun filled with vegan beef, vegan cheese and vegan bacon — to really give it some meat (so to say) — along with some lettuce for some freshness, grilled onions, BBQ sauce and a special vegan mayo.
